WARHOL SHOES

Developed at Flavor Paper, this design was based on Warhol’s original shoe paintings. To translate the artwork into wallpaper, I sifted through hundreds of Warhol’s Polaroids of shoes—provided by the Warhol Foundation—curating and expanding them into a bold, large-scale repeat. Glitter-infused silkscreen mimics Warhol’s signature “Diamond Dust” technique, adding texture and sparkle. The ‘Gemstone’ colorway is now part of the Cooper Hewitt permanent collection.
